Sierra received her B.A. in Studio Art with a Business Minor in 2013 and now lives in NYC to pursue her career in the arts. Sierra Dawn’s artwork aims to express the spiritual beauty found in nature, which is now disappearing due to our failure to live in balance with the natural world. Sierra gives her audience a glimpse at how she views nature: sacred, vibrant, powerful, and full of life energy. Through textural mark making and expressive color choices, she gives her audience a fresh perspective on how important and sacred the relationship is between man and nature. Sierra’s influences include Gustav Klimt, Alfonse Mucha, Henri Matisse, Andy Goldsworthy, Edgar Degas, Wolf Kahn, and Odilon Redon.
