Midnight Dance 30 x 20

This painting is full of movement and texture. It was one of those spontaneous creations where I was able to get lost in the process, experimenting with different mark-making techniques and delighting in the dashes of color that bring the overall painting to life. Every time I look at it, I think of dancers in a jazz club. My favorite detail is the light "dusting" of gold as a finishing touch, which highlights the texture perfectly and makes the artwork feel elevated. This original abstract painting will bring new energy and fun to a stagnant room, available to joy-seekers only!
