Mystique 14 x 11

This original Alcohol Ink painting is part of my Dreamscapes collection. This group of artwork is about quick creation without worrying about perfection. There isn't time to be perfect anyway, the medium dries very quickly and is really difficult to control, forcing me to be in the moment, enjoy the process, and play. In this piece, I experimented more with the dripping effect and contrasting the cool purples, pinks, and blues of the sky with bright yellows and oranges in the landscape. Look closely at the details of the subtle textures and colorful washes that create a unique, dreamy atmosphere.
