Bella Notte 14 x 11

This original Alcohol Ink painting is part of my Dreamscapes collection. This group of artwork is about quick creation without worrying about perfection. There isn't time to be perfect anyway, the medium dries very quickly and is really difficult to control, forcing me to be in the moment, enjoy the process, and play. The way the mountains melt into silvery whisps that connect to the body of water below is my favorite part of this piece. I added the little sliver of moon for a magical touch. It would be perfect for a young one's room to lull them to the dreamworld or in the corner of a relaxing reading room.
