Spirit of the Mountain 14 x 11

This original Alcohol Ink painting is part of my Dreamscapes collection. This group of artwork is about quick creation without worrying about perfection. There isn't time to be perfect anyway, the medium dries very quickly and is really difficult to control, forcing me to be in the moment, enjoy the process, and play. I love this mountain, standing there with such permanence and power. It seems to be alive and present, watching the river flow beneath it and the sky shift above. How might we behave differently if we knew our magnificent Mother Earth were watching our every move?
